At the recent conference of the Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy in New Orleans, La Salle University's doctoral program in Psychology (PsyD) was well represented. Over 24 current Psy.D. students, five Psy.D. faculty members, and three doctoral alumni were in attendance.
Advancing the field of psychology, four Psy.D. faculty members, three Psy.D. students, and two doctoral alumni presented professional papers on original research, spanning such areas as clinical anger, athletic performance enhancement, psychology of injury, psychological correlates of HIV, and anxiety disorders.
Four of these professional contributions were based on doctoral dissertations.
