Louise Guigliano's First Year Odyssey (FYO) students recently took a field trip to the National Constitution Center to experience an interactive study of the United States Constitution.
This exhibit focuses on the important events in our nation's history that lead to the crafting of the Constitution and the significant role it has now, over 200 years later. Students were also able to participate in interactive activities that enhanced their understanding of the United States Constitution: voting for their all-time favorite president, taking the Presidential Oath-of-Office, taking the seat of a Supreme Court Justice and "mingling" with founding fathers of our country.
The "First Year Odyssey" (FYO) refers to the one credit program which introduces freshmen to La Salle University and the city of Philadelphia through activities such as field trips and campus wide programs.
