| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Political Expert, Former Penn Dean to Lecture at La Salle October 7th | Dr. Kathleen Hall Jamieson, former dean of the Annenberg School at Penn, and the country's foremost authority on presidential campaigns and elections will lecture on the topic: "The Demise of Fact in Political Debate" on Thursday, October 7th.
The lecture, which will take place at 12:45 in Hayman Hall at La Salle, will come one week after the first Presidential debate and just prior to the second. Dr. Jamieson's presentation talk will include clips from the first debate as well as an analysis of political advertising.
This lecture is being co-sponsored by the Provost's Office, the Concert and Lecture Series, the Political Science Department and the Communication Department.
The entire campus is welcome to attend and outside groups, including high school students, will be invited to attend.
