Donna Tonrey, Psy.D., LMFT, the Assistant Director for La Salle University's Master's in Clinical Psychology program at Gwynedd-Mercy College was also recently appointed by Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell to the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors.
The board oversees licensing for all of the social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a board member, Tonrey says she will be working on regulations for the licensing law, reviewing applications and attending to other official business pertaining to the state board.
