TIME's "Best in the East" Winner Chooses La Salle!
Drew Paunil, editor of one of four high school newspapers in the country to be recognized by Time Magazine, has chosen to attend La Salle University this fall.

Drew's high school newspaper, which Time called the "Best in the East," won the magazine's Eastern Regional High School Newspaper Award.

Paunil, who will enroll as a freshman as a Communication major, attended James Hubert Blake High School in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Students aspiring to be journalists have great opportunities to build their portfolios while attending La Salle by writing for The Collegian, (Newspaper), The Explorer (Yearbook),the Political Science Department Magazine (La Scam), Grimoire (a Literary Magazine), and the Communication Department's "Charlie Talk"

Students may also seek opportunities through campus departments to develop content for La Salle web sites, the mylasalle portal, and school newsletters.
