Thomas McAllister, a graduating senior English major, has been accepted to the Iowa Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa. This program is the preeminent, most selective, and acclaimed workshop of it's kind. Tom is the first La Salle graduate to be accepted to this elite program.

Graduates of this program include: Flannery O'Connor, John Irving and Robert Bly.
