Recently, Rena Iwata, '06, was one of among 400 bilingual candidates interviewed in Boston, MA, for the job of controller in the Deutsche Bank Tokyo Division Office.

Impressed by her bilingual skills and the breadth of her knowledge stemming from her dual major in sociology and international economics, the Vice President for Finance and his advisors interrupted her last interview and immediately offered her the position. Iwata will participate in a five-week training program in England to prepare her for her work in the Deutsch Bank Tokyo office, which will begin in July, 2006.
