Social Work Program Re-Accredited!

The Department of Sociology, Social Work & Criminal Justice is pleased to announce that its Social Work Program has been fully reaccredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) through 2013!

CSWE is the national accrediting body for schools of social work. Meeting the standards set forth by CSWE assures that the Social Work Program curriculum is current and substantive. In addition, a degree from an accredited social work program can provide graduates the privileges of advanced standing admission to graduate schools of social work, social work licensure (in many states), and increased career opportunities within the profession.

Many thanks to Bonni Zetick, Director of the Social Work Program, for her leadership during the reaccreditation process, and to the many members of the La Salle community -- faculty, administrators, and staff -- for their support and commitment to the program.

Special thanks to the program's students, alumni, and Advisory Board members, whose contributions to the Social Work Program are beyond measure.
