| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Popular Psychologist Gershenfeld to Present at La Salle, Raise Funds for Award | Dr. Matti Gershenfeld will, in her captivating, unique way, address relationships between parents and their adult children at La Salle University on Wedensday, April 20th from 7-9:00 PM. The presentation, titled "Parenting the Adult Child" will be held in the Dan Rodden Theater.
Dr. Gershenfeld is a psychologist who has written eleven books, and has appeared often in the media, including on Good Morning America, Oprah!, and The Phil Donahue Show.
To meet the continuing education needs of licensed social workers in Pennsylvania, 2 CEUS are available for in return for attendence and a contribution of $20 to the Sister Ruth Mahar, D.C. Grace & Grit Scholarship Award. This annual award is presented to a social work student who is a single parent. All other contributions to the Scholarship Award Fund will be welcomed.
