14 Inducted into Phi Alpha!
Fourteen junior and senior social work students at La Salle University were inducted on February 13, 2005, into the La Salle University chapter of Phi Alpha, the National Social Work Honor Society.

Current Phi Alpha members presided at the ceremony, held in the Chapel, with 65 guests present. A summary of each inductee's accomplishments was read, and each inductee was then presented with a Phi Alpha medallion. Inductees must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and a 3.25 or higher in social work courses.

Janine Mariscotti, MSW, LCSW, Chair of the Department of Sociology, Social Work, & Criminal Justice, is the faculty advisor for Phi Alpha. The Phi Alpha class of 2005 includes Kelly Beckmann, Cristina Cianfrani, Leigh Ann Duca, Kristina Dougherty, Kate Haughey, Audrey Lamping, Erin McCabe, Angela Miller, Beth Myers, Katie O' Grady, Stephanie Randazzo, Maria Reyes, Laura Tease, and Sara Tease.
