Service Matters: La Salle Students Make a Difference
The student members of the Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice Association have been recognized by St. John's Hospice for their charitable donation. In November, Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice students joined together and held a bake sale in order to raise money for St. John's in time for the holidays.

In a letter to the students, the program director of St. John's expresed his appreciation for their desire to help the less fortunate. Members of the Association plan to hold another fundraiser sometime this semester in order to benefit other worthy causes.

Students interested in joining the Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice Association can contact one of the faculty advisors: Marie Mele, John Connors, or Donna Fiedler.
