Jacqueline Pastis, Associate Professor of Religion, was awarded a Mellon Fellowship to research medieval Greek manuscripts at the Vatican Film Library of St. Louis University in September. She will visit the Vatican Library in Rome in November to work on reconstructing the underwriting of a ninth century Greek palimpsest.
