| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | COM Student, Torino Intern, Awarded Broadcast Pioneer Scholarship | Communication major, Brandon Davidow, was recently selected to be a 2006 recipient of a Broadcast Pioneer Scholarship.
Davidow, who worked as an intern for NBC's coverage of the Winter Olympics in February, was selected from a record number of applicants, along with fellow peer recipients from Rowan University, Temple University, University of Delaware and Cabrini College.
The students will receive a $1500 scholarship Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at The Bala Country Club, where the guest speaker for the event will be Caroline Foy Welch, VP of Programming, Channel 6.
Davidow joins fellow Lasallians, Matt DeLucia '07 and Ben Rosehart '06, who are recent awardees of the scholarship. Both DeLucia and Rosehart, accepted the honor in 2005. |
