| Professor Vincent Kling, currently in Vienna pursuing research and literary translation, has been awarded a significant grant by the Austrian government's Ministry of Education, Art, and Culture for his forthcoming translations of the Divertimenti and Variations of Heimito von Doderer. These are eight pieces of fiction based on musical forms, which comprise a book of some 250 pages. Publication is expected in April 2008 by Counterpath Press, Denver, Colorado. |
