| Jim Ulinski’s Sociology 150 and Donna Celano’s Communication 101 classes began the semester last week celebrating the theme of their doubled sessions: “Society According to Homer Simpson.” Both instructors hope to explore the connection between the study of sociology and mass media throughout the next 14 weeks and decided to begin with a look at television’s Homer Simpson. On the first day of their doubles meeting, the instructors asked students to dress and bring costumes and props (including the do-nuts) to celebrate the Simpson theme. |
