Huntly Collins' Op-Ed on AIDS Vaccine Appears in Philadelphia Inquirer

Huntly Collins,Assistant Professor ofCommunication,wrote an Op-Ed entitled "Starting Fresh for an AIDS Vaccine" that was published in the Philadelphia Inquirer on September 26. Collins was a former reported at the Inquirer, where she covered the AIDS epidemic for 10 years. Her piece discusses the recent disappointing news from Merckabout the failure of what looked to be the first promising AIDS vaccine to move into large-scale human clinical trials since the discovery of the AIDS virus nearly a quarter-century ago.
