| Father Richard Delzingara, CRSP, a Barnabite priest, spoke to Brother Joe Doughtery's Religion in Philadelphia class on Sept. 18 and 20. Father Delzingara was raised Baptist and then became a Quaker because of his commitment to the peace movement during the Vietnam War. Because both Baptists and Quakers are prominent religious groups in the history of Philadelphia, his recounting of his experience within them added a welcome dimension to the course. |
