| On Saturday, October 6, members of La Salle's Young Broadcasters attended a workshop entitled "How to Mine the Internet and Tell Great Interactive Stories" sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and held at Drexel University. Students had the opportunity to learn many TV journalism tips and background investigation skills. They also talked with producers, reporters, assignment editors, photojournalists and news managers from WPMT, NJN, NBC10 and WFMZ. The workshop was lead by Al Tompkins from the Poynter Institute. |
