The Communication Department hosted a Career Night on October 17. The theme was made very clear: network, network, network. Alumni, some very recent and some a little more experienced, along with other communication professionals, came to speak to majors about life after graduation and gave tips for what students should do before heading out into the real world.

Alumni stressed the importance of obtaining diverse internships, maintaining drive and determination, and most importantly the idea of networking. At the end of the night, students were given a chance to start building their own networks by speaking with alumni and other professionals about their career goals.
