On Thursday, March 29, four members from the Society for Technical Communication (STC) met with students in Dr. Dolores Lehr’s English 409 class to discuss careers in technical publishing. Steve Lungren, senior writer at Insurance Data Processing (IDP), and former president of the STC’s Philadelphia-Metro chapter, talked about his experience in the field as did Rob Sims, marketing communications manager for EduNeering and ’01 La Salle alum (MA, Professional Communication), Gary Samartino, founder and president of Infoventions, and Dana Madonna, documentation specialist at IDP and ’06 alum (B.A., English).
