| On March 31, at the Middle Atlantic American Studies Conference at the University of Maryland, Jaclyn Keammerer was awarded the American Studies Prize for the best undergraduate research paper. She delivered her paper as part of the Undergraduate Research Session, and she competed against students from Rutgers, Lehigh, Temple, Penn State (Harrisburg) and Penn State (DelCo). This was the first time that the Executive Board of the MAASA authorized such an award. The award was given to her by Dr. Francis Ryan, Director of American Studies at La Salle. |
