The Charlie Film Festival held Sunday, February 24, was a success thanks to the work of La Salle's Young Broadcasters, headed by Kimberly Davidow, and the Film Society, headed by Eric Donovan. All participants enjoyed a dinner in the Union Ballroom to celebrate the talented filmmakers and then enthusiastically viewed the students' films.
The festival winners were as follows: Best Ensemble Cast: Lost ID (Directed by Emily Brennan) Best Editing: Dueling Elevators (Directed by Emily Brennan) Best Cinematography: Moon Over Asbury (Directed by Matt Szczerbienski) Best Screenplay: Best Friends Forever (Directed by Matt Szczerbienski) Best Overall: Lost ID (Directed by Emily Brennan)
Thanks to the generosity of an alum, Brother Gerry Molyneaux, F.S.C., Professor of Communication, awarded Brennan and Szczerbienski each $150 for winning Best Director.
