Barbara Millis, Director of the Excellence in Teaching Program at the University of Nevada-Reno, addressed a group of approximately 35 faculty members in an all-day workshop, May 21, arranged by Margot Soven, Professor of English and CORE Director. Millis’ PowerPoint presentation focused on linking cooperative learning to current research on how people learn.
