| Charles Desnoyers, Associate Professor of History, chaired a panel entitled “Globalization and its Discontents” last month at the University of London's Queen Mary Campus. Desnoyers also presented a paper entitled “Global City in the Gilded Age: Centennial Philadelphia Through Chinese Eyes.” The World History Association, which holds its next international meeting in Beijing in 2011, is the oldest and largest organization for scholars involved with world history, trans-national studies, and expanded area studies. |
