Natalie Virgilio,'08, was one of four students nationally selected as "Public Relations Student of the Year" by PR News, a leading industry publication.

Virgilio, a Communication Department graduate, will be honored along with other PR industry leaders at the PR People Awards Luncheon on November 6, 2008 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

"We received numerous nominations, and it took longer than expected, as every student nominated offered something worthy of recognition," said Carol Bray of PR News, "Natalie's hard work and dedication to PR and communications is commended."

Virgilio was the only award recipient from a school with an enrollment of less than 10,000 students. She currently works in media relations for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
