Neo-African Drums 'n Dance, La Salle University's djembe orchestra, performed for approximately a thousand people from around the world at the International Scholars Conference in the University of Pennsylvania's Egyptian Gallery at its Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology on Friday, October 17. Members of the audience danced to their music, played their instruments, and requested encores. According to Stephen Jamison, Assistant Professor of Music and the orchestra’s adviser, “The music group positively and enthusiastically represented La Salle.”
