Marianne Dainton, Professor of Communication, recently published two articles. The first, "The Use of Negative Strategies for Relationship Maintenance," was published in Communication Research Report and co-authored with Jamie Gross, '06. Gross conducted the study described in the article as part of an undergraduate research project.

The second, "The Use of Relationship Maintenance Behaviors as a Mechanism to Explain the Decline in Marital Satisfaction among Parents," was published in Communication Reports. The research described in this article was supported by a summer grant.
