La Salle University Student Historical Society sponsored a trip on Nov. 8 to Fort Mifflin on the Delaware, where a major battle was fought in 1777 to keep the British from re-supplying their troops in Philadelphia. Assistant Professors of History Lisa Jarvinen and Barbara Allen accompanied students Victoria Valusek, John Purcell, John Phillips, Pamela Alva, and Nisha Quraishi, who spent the day talking to living history interpreters, walking the parapets, and watching a reenactment of a Revolutionary War battle.
