| Margaret McManus, Associate Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, participated in a panel discussion entitled "Organizing 101: Departments, Institutes, Schools, or Colleges?" at the Council of Colleges of Arts and Sciences Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, on November 15. Dr. McManus described La Salle's Hispanic Institute and Department of Integrative Studies, and discussed the challenges, issues, and best practices for establishing special institutes and interdisciplinary departments. |
