NPR and Fox News Correspondent Juan Williams spoke at La Salle University on November 18 in a program hosted by the University’s Social Work Program Advisory Board. Williams reflected on what the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would think of American society today and also discussed the high dropout rate at urban high schools. He spoke directly to students in attendance about the privilege of attending La Salle as well as the leadership needed after they graduate to tackle such contemporary social problems as poverty and inequality.
