Representatives from Urban Engineers accepted an award on February 21 for building the pedestrian bridge connecting St. Benilde Tower with La Salle’s main campus. The award, the Notable Civil and Structural Engineering Achievement in the Delaware Valley for 2008, was presented at a dinner sponsored by the Engineering Societies in the Delaware Valley in cooperation with the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers. Urban Engineers has also submitted the bridge project to the Delaware Valley section of the American Society of Highway Engineers 2008 Project of the Year; the winner of this competition will be announced in April.
