Song, music, and dance filled Backstage on April 16 for The Rock 'n Rap Show. About 150 attended performances by 12 bands from the music classes of Dr. Stephen Jamison of the Fine Arts Department. A variety of musical styles were featured including rock and roll, island, hard rock, rap, Motown, and pop. The group Neon Black won the $400 grand prize with their rendition of the song, "Yes."
