| On March 27, eleven students from American Studies 200: Wilderness and American Life took to the trails of Wissahickon to experience the wilderness that has been a part of their reading throughout the semester. The students have been reading about the development of the Wissahickon since the 1600s and hiked to Devil's Pool, the Valley Green Inn, and down Forbidden Drive. Dr. Ryan Hediger, Assistant Professor of English, led the group, which received funding for their trip from the City as Classroom program. |
