Dr. Charles Gallagher, Chair of the Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice, took part in a panel entitled “The White Way?: Discussing Racial Privilege and White Advantage” at the Race in America National Conference held at the University of Pittsburgh from June 3-6. Last March, he also spoke on “The Myth of Color Blind America” and “The Social Construction of Diversity” at the MultiCultural Forum sponsored by Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
