Queen Muse, a junior communication major, who reported and wrote more than 40 stories last year for The Collegian, received one of two $1,000 college scholarships from the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists in a ceremony at CBS3 headquarters on June 12. "Queen is an amazing young journalist and an amazing human being, said Huntly Collins, Assistant Professor of Communication, “There's not an issue or event that doesn't peak her curiosity. And once she's onto something, she pursues it with great energy." Pictured is Muse (left) with her mother. Pictured also are Muse (right) and the other award winner, Jordan Pringle of Rutgers.
