Dr. Kevin J. Harty, Professor and Chair of English, moderated a screening of Xavier Beauvois’s 2010 film Of Gods and Men on April 22 to conclude the 2011-2012 film festival sponsored by St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Locust Street in Center City Philadelphia. The film chronicles the circumstances involving the disappearance and murder of seven French monks in 1996during the Algerian Civil War.
