Dr. Craig Franson, Assistant Professor of English and Coordinator of the Writing Program, and Dr. Kevin J. Harty, Professor and Chair of English, both delivered papers at the 47th International Congress on Medieval Studies held May 10-13, 2012, at Western Michigan University in Kalamazaoo. Dr. Franson’s paper was entitled "Is There a Class for This Text?: J. R. R. Tolkien, J. K. Rowling, and Romance Aesthetics."Dr. Harty ‘s paper was entitled "King Arthur among the Boy Scouts of America: Thomas Edison's Film 'The Knights of the Square Table'."
