La Salle’s Social Work Advisory Board welcomed back social work students and faculty on September 12. Dr. Thomas A. Keagy, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, welcomed everyone, and recognized the recipient of the 1912 Lindback Award for Teaching Excellence, Assistant Professor of Social Work Janine Mariscotti. Emmanuella Theophile, President of the Social Work Student Association, and Noheli Taveras, President of Phi Alpha, the national honor society for social work, shared their plans for the year. Advisory Board members spoke about their career paths in social work.
