Even at the undergraduate level, research opportunities abound for motivated students. Through its honors and undergraduate research programs, nearly 100 Arts and Sciences students have had the opportunity to work one-on-one with individual faculty members during the past three years alone. Some also presented the findings of their research at national conventions such as the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society and the Society for Research in Child Development. A summer research grant fund exists to supplement work done during the academic year.
