In the School of Arts and Sciences, we are committed to the search for truth through scholarly activities that expand the boundaries of knowledge and enhance teaching and learning throughout the curriculum.

Our faculty includes researchers with national and international reputations. (See a recent list of faculty scholarship here.) Students participate in partnership with these scholars on projects that cover a wide range of disciplines from the sciences, to the humanities, to the social sciences. These experiences help our students understand the nature of research as it applies to their specific disciplines and also prepares them well for entry into prestigious graduate programs and for employment with high ranking companies in their chosen fields.
