The Criminal Justice Program seeks to provide students with the knowledge, skills and critical thinking capabilities necessary for successful careers in the criminal justice field. Continually changing to meet the demands of the discipline and the challenges of crime in a modern society, this professional major provides an intensive knowledge of the causes of delinquent and criminal behaviors and the problems of the juvenile and criminal justice systems. Students are prepared for a variety of careers in law enforcement, court administration, victim services, and corrections, as well as entrance to law school and graduate programs.
