|Dr. Robert Chapman and Brother Edward Conway, F.S.C. will be presenting poster sessions at the US Department of Education's 18th Annual National Meeting on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse and Violence Prevention in Higher Education in Washington, D.C. October 16th through the 19th. |
Dr. Chapman's Poster Session, "Writing for Professional Identity", will address the impact professional writing has in regard to information dissemination within the field of AODV as well as its importance in "shaping a personal sense of identity for the AODV professional."
Brother Edward Conway's Poster Session, “Introducing Low-Risk Alternatives To High-Risk Behavior: Alternate Sanctions Program, (ASP) A B.A.S.I.C.S.-Type Intervention” will address the use of educational programming as an alternative means to "monetary sanctions imposed on students in violation of a university’s behavioral standards especially regarding alcohol, other drugs and violence."
