Yost's and Vogel's Research on Project Achieve Republished
Research on Project Achieve by Deborah Yost, Professor of Education, and Robert Vogel, Professor of Education, was recently republished in the 2008 Middle Level Research Annual by the National Middle School Association. This research, originally published in an article entitled “Urban Professional Development: Working to Create Successful Teachers and Achieving Students” in the Middle School Journal in 2007, focuses on raising middle level instructional expertise to improve student learning and achievement. Vogel and Yost developed and implemented Project Achieve over a three-year period (2004-2007) at Grover Washington Jr. Middle School in the School District of Philadelphia.
