Liang and Richardson Co-publish Article in the Journal of Elementary Science Education

Drs. Ling Liang and Greer Richardson, both Associate Professors of Education, published an article entitled, “Enhancing Prospective Teachers’ Science Teaching Efficacy Beliefs Through Scaffolded Student-Directed Inquiry,” in the Winter 2009 issue of the Journal of Elementary Science Education. This is one of their two articles that examined the implementation and effectiveness of an innovative, integrated science and math course sequence model designed for prospective elementary and special education majors. The project was supported in part by grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (EEF 03-64) and the Lindback Education Foundation.
