Dr. Robert Vogel, Professor of Education, took the student teachers in his senior seminar for a mural arts tour earlier this month. To understand the impact that Philadelphia’s mural arts program has had on the city’s children, the students viewed eight murals and had the opportunity to see the colorful mosaic work of Philadelphia muralist Isaiah Zagar.
