Personal Statement
I have been a faculty member in the Department since 1999.  It goes without saying that I have a passion for learning.  I have been fortunate over the last ten years to share that passion with my students.

Professional Interests/Expertise

• Human motivation and its impact on teaching and learning in formal and informal education settings
• How self efficacy impacts both student achievement and teacher preparation
• Oral histories of African American women from the city of Philadelphia who have impacted sports throughout the 20th century
