On Wednesday, April 19, nine senior English majors were inducted into the national honor society Lambda Iota Tau: Alexandra Benjamin, Beverly Brown, Elisa Cannizzaro, Anthony Chwastyk, Genevieve Introcaso, Kathleen McGowan, Colleen Mullarkey, Donna Saracino, and Colleen Smith.
The winner of the Lambda Iota Tau Essay Award was Kathleen McGowan; Anthony Chwastyk won the James Foote Award for Excellence in Drama; Alexandra Benjamin won the Richard Lautz Award for Outstanding Potential as a Teacher. Two additional awards were made for excellence in creative writing: Andrew Kuny for Fiction, and Colleen Smith for Poetry. |
