| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Vincent Kling Lectures at Lantern Theater, 2/25 | | Professor Vincent Kling has been invited by the directors of the Lantern Theater and of the Austrian Society of Pennsylvania to lecture on Arthur Schnitzler's play La ronde after the last performance, which will take place on Sunday, February 25, at the Lantern Theater, 10th and Ludlow Streets, in Center City Philadelphia. The play begins at 2:00 P.M., and the lecture begins at about 4:00 or 4:15. Kling, whose major interests include Austrian literature, will talk about the eroticentanglements of the characters as marks of loneliness and missing self-identity; he will draw on research he conducted at the Austrian Theater Museum in Vienna during Decemer 2006 and January 2007. |
