Judith Musser Publishes an Anthology of Stories by African American Women
“Girl, Colored” and Other Stories: A Complete Short Fiction Anthology of African American Women Writers in "The Crisis Magazine," 1910-1920 by Dr. Judith Musser, Professor and Assistant Chair of the English Department, was published in November by McFarland and Co. As stated on the publisher's Website, “This anthology collects all of the short stories published in The Crisis by African American women during the magazine’s first century of publication, offering an historical, literary, and cultural perspective on the lives of African American women from the Harlem Renaissance to the present.”
