Kevin J. Harty, Ph.D., Professor of English and Chair of the English Department, delivered the keynote address at the 26^th Annual International Conference on Studies in Medievalism held at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, October 20-22. Dr. Harty’s address, “Walt in Sherwood; or, the Sherriff of Disneyland,” discussed the social and political agendas that underlie the four Disney Robin Hood films. Supplementing Dr. Harty’s address were a series of film clips put together by Sidney J. MacLeod, Assistant Professor of Communication.
